This workshop will be helpful to anyone who is new to the CUNYfirst T&E module for encumbering and expense reporting or to those who would like a review of the process.  Topics will include: 

• Is there an approval form or document required for access 

• Where to find the forms; is there a link 

• To whom are the forms submitted 

• What are the guidelines for travel and expense reimbursement 

• Where to finds these guidelines; is there a link 

• What expenses do we encumber; how to encumber 

• Once encumbered, how to enter the expense reimbursement 

• New faculty reimbursement guidelines; forms; who can submit the reimbursement 

• How long does the reimbursement process take – start to finish – assuming no entry problems/errors

• Questions and answers

We invite any eligible party to come with questions for experienced chairpersons. The discussion will be Q&A based, and you may submit questions prior to the event through our office (see your email the link to submit questions). Feel free to ask the panel about their responsibilities, leadership style, and building department culture. If you are seeking specific guidance on a particular issue, please feel free to ask the panel during this session as well!
